Prior to the start of GI 2025 graduating students took an average of 5 years to graduate.

Half-way through GI 2025, students were already graduating an average of one-half semester earlier.

Freshmen will graduate an average of 7 months earlier, resulting in $62,352 in savings and long-term income gains.

The CSU works diligently to help ensure one thing for our 475,000 students: the timely completion of a high-quality degree in preparation for a lifetime of achievement. This vision is embodied in Graduation Initiative 2025, which sets ambitious goals for facilitating students’ paths to a college degree and eliminating equity gaps.
